John & Naomi, under their management along with the chef and staff, aim to achieve standards of good quality pub food at a reasonable price in a relaxing environment. To achieve this aim fresh food is sourced from local suppliers whenever possible to maintain the quality and freshness of our comprehensive menu. Menus will change along with the seasons to take advantage of providing varied selections of dishes. We have received complimentary comments on our specials board which has introduced various meals from around the world as well as providing well known traditional dishes making for a greater selection of choice from lunchtimes to evening meals 7 days a week, and not forgetting that Sunday Roast. To tempt your palate, whether dining or calling in for a drink with friends, we have selected an excellent wine list from around the world to enhance the flavour of your meal from house wines to quality reds and whites at varied prices to suit your pocket and of course we have a wide range of draught and bottled lagers while providing ales to please most tastes. Various in-house functions and events are planned throughout the year; we will also cater for small parties while providing a meeting venue for those out of office meetings. We have no ambition to be a Gastro Pub or Restaurant as Reigate has an excellent number of good dining establishments. The Black Horse policy is to provide Pub Food with an edge on quality, presentation and price while maintaining these principles we hope you will enjoy your meal in a cosy atmosphere.
